Casey | Newborn

If you're keeping up with my blog posts, you'll remember Casey's parents, Ashley and Hank (who I dubbed 'Hank the Tank' for our sessions!) I'm still not sure why it stuck for me, but it did and it's not going away. Ashley and Hank were SO fun to work with for the maternity session and I was genuinely excited for their return AND, most of all, to meet their sweet baby boy.

I always enjoy the conversations I have with parents during their session. I mean, we are together for at least 2-hours! So it's always nice to make the best of it. Two hours of awkward silence is...well, it's awkward LOL!

Ashley didn't have much input for colors and was super flexible for planning her session! I personally am a sucker for the color green so I pulled some greens for the session. To my surprise, she walked in with a beautiful green dress for her parent portraits and I instantly knew I made the perfect decision!

I always include 1-2 props in studio and I ALWAYS use a bucket when the baby allows it!

Ashley and Hank the Tank were up at the end for their parent shots! It was my first time using this backdrop and it did not disappoint!

Ashley & Hank are going to be wonderful parents to this sweet boy who is already so loved!
